Bond set at $2 million for foster mom charged in death of 5-year-old
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The foster mother of the boy who died after he was left in an SUV for several hours appeared in court Friday afternoon. Juanita Pinon, 40, was formally charged in Douglas County Court with child abuse by neglect resulting in death. The Class 2A felony is punishable of up to 25 years in prison.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. — An Omaha man is facing charges after the search of his home in connection to a child sexual assault case led to the discovery of firearms. According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), Michael Hackenberg, 38, is charged with one count of sexual assault of a child and additional firearms-related charges are anticipated.
