Body of missing Minnesota man found in northern Wisconsin river
SUPERIOR, Wis. (WFRV) – The body of a missing man from Duluth was found in a river in northern Wisconsin after he was last seen fleeing from a traffic stop nine days prior. According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the body of a missing man from Minnesota was found in the Pokegema River on June 17. The man, identified as 43-year-old Ryan Lahti, was reported missing around June 14 to the Duluth Police Department by family members.
Project sealing bridge decks, columns on US 53 to start
MADISON — To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Gov. Tony Evers has signed a $212,288 contract with prime contractor Norcon Corp. of Schofield for a project sealing concrete bridge decks that carry Highway 53 traffic and columns on structures that go over Highway 53 in Eau Claire, Chippewa, Barron, Washburn and Douglas counties.
