One dead, one arrested after Saturday shooting in Oakwood
A man is facing murder charges after a shooting that killed a man in Oakwood Saturday afternoon. A release from the Oakwood Police Department Sunday said officers were called to a home on Aster Place in the Prescott neighborhood off of McEver Road just before 4:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a shooting. When they got to the scene, they found a vehicle that had crashed into the rear of a home on nearby Wild Berry Court.

Two People Shot From Vehicle in Oakland City Area
On Saturday, July 20th, at approximately 11:16 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers responded to a report of a shooting at 1335 Dorsey St. SW in the Oakland City area.
