Dover opened the Senior League baseball District I tournament with a 21-1 win over Felton-Harrington on Tuesday night.
The six-team, double-elimination tourney in Little League’s division for 14-16 year olds is being hosted by Camden-Wyoming.
Pitcher Bryce Jenks struck out seven and walked only two in three innings, Jakhi Jenkins had two hits and scored twice while Caleb Darling had a triple for Dover.
Dover was slated to face Camden-Wyoming on Wednesday night. Felton-Harrington is scheduled to play again on Thursday at 6 p.m.
MOT 5, Smyrna-Clayton 1: Noah Wegman, Adam McDowell, and Mikael Lentz all had hits for MOT in its win on Tuesday night.
McDowell and Matthew Kane both added RBI for the Middletown-area squad, which was scheduled to face Milford on Wednesday.
Ryan Chadwick, Cameron Anderson, Matt Mannering, and Frank Sacco each collected a hit for Smyrna-Clayton with Ian Alfree adding an RBI.

MOT-Blue 13, Camden-Wyoming 8: MOT-Blue reached the tourney championship game with the win on Tuesday night.
MOT-Blue was slated to play fellow Middletown-area squad MOT-Red in the title game on Wednesday night.
On Tuesday, Camden-Wyoming rallied for five straight runs to cut MOT-Blue’s lead to only 7-6. But MOT-Blue took control from there to earn the victory.
Cole Brown, Maddox Day and Chris Belcher each had multiple hits for MOT-Blue including Belcher’s solo home run and double. Tyler D’Erasmo added a double and two RBI.
Three MOT-Blue pitchers struck out 12 while walking four.
Camden-Wyoming was led by Logan Mason (2 doubles) with Ethan Klein adding a double and a single.
Camden-Wyoming 16, Milford 1: Camden-Wyoming used a six-run first inning to take control of the contest on Monday.
Pitcher Jeramy Krambeck surrendered only one hit and one run over two and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking two. Josiah Burris, Easton Wilson and Josiah Burris (2 RBI) all had two hits.
Deak Deakins Tournament
Smyrna-Clayton 15, Camden-Wyoming Gold 8: Smyrna-Clayton scored six runs in the fifth inning to rally for an 11-7 lead before reaching the tourney finals on Wednesday night.
Smyrna-Clayton will face MOT-Blue today at 6 p.m. at Harrington in the title game. MOT-Blue beat Milford-Maroon, 16-2, in its semifinal.
Both squads are 3-0 in the tournament.
Smyrna-Clayton 22, Harrington 3: Smyrna-Clayton, which scored 12 runs in the sixth inning, improved to 2-0 with the win on Tuesday.
Smyrna-Clayton 12, Felton-White 0: Smyrna-Clayton posted the shutout victory in their tourney opener on Monday.
Softball
Little Lass wins tourney: Smyrna-Clayton Little Lass downed Camden-Wyoming 15-5 to win the Biff Newnam Tournament in Little League softball on Monday evening.
The tourney is one of five special-games tourneys being played in Kent County’s District I.
Smyrna-Clayton’s Little Lass went 3-0 in the tournament, scoring a total of 33 runs in the six-team bracket. Camden-Wyoming finished 2-1.
