    Two Dover homes damaged by gunfire, no injuries reported

    DOVER — No injuries were reported after two occupied homes were damaged by gunfire Saturday, Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

    Cpl. Schmid said investigation began at 3:16 p.m., when Dover Police received a call for shots fired in Dover Park, 1200 White Oak Road. Officers responded and located several spent shell casings in the area, he said.

    The investigation revealed that two occupied homes in Manchester Square were damaged as a result of this shooting.

    There are currently no leads to release at this time, police said.

    Police ask anyone with information to call 302 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com ; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
