    Bike Clinic & Community Ride

    DOVER — Tuesday, July 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. join the Dover Public Library for a bicycle clinic with Colin McKenna from Colonial Bicycle Company, and a community bike ride following! Bring your bicycles and meet us on the front lawn where Colin will give a demonstration of simple bike repairs. Afterwards, join Dover Public Library for a community ride taking place on the Dover Community Trail.

    Summer Crafternoon: Socktopus

    DOVER — Tuesday, July 23 at 3 p.m. kids entering grades K-5 are invited to join the Dover Public Library in the lecture hall to make a sock octopus. Please pre-register for this event: library.dover.nh.gov or call 603-516-6050.

    Birds of Prey with Monadnock Falconry

    DOVER — Wednesday, July 24 at 3 p.m., at Henry Law Park, join the Dover Public Library as Monadnock Falconry offers the chance for nature enthusiasts of all ages to imagine life as a bird of prey. The hour-long program gives the opportunity to meet a Harris' Hawk and see it on the wing, while answering all your questions about their life histories and relation to their human handlers. The program is open to all, including those with disabilities.

    Family Concert

    PORTSMOUTH — Free family concert Wednesday, July 24 at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.), at the Campus, 100 Campus Drive, Portsmouth. North River Music (Americana), bubble station, playground open, bring a picnic dinner, blanket or lawn chair. Rain or shine.

    UNH Hospitality and Campus Services Job Fair

    DOVER — Wednesday, July 24, 12-4 p.m. UNH Hospitality and Campus Service departments are hiring. Hiring managers will be available for one-on-one interviews on the spot. UNH offers flexible and regular schedules, competitive pay, opportunities for promotion, tuition benefits, and an easy commute with transportation options. The job fair will be held at the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce at 550 Central Ave. in Dover.

    Journal Making

    DOVER — Thursday, July 25 at 6 p.m. kids ages 9 - 12 are invited to join the Dover Public Library in two fun journal making sessions. We'll be making up-cycled journals to write, doodle, or draw in. All supplies provided by the library. Registration required: library.dover.nh.gov or call 603-516-6050.

    Firefighter Storytime

    BERWICK, Maine — The Berwick Fire Department will be at the Berwick Public Library (with their fire truck) for Firefighter Storytime on Friday, July 26, at 10:30 a.m. The firefighters will read a story, teach about fire safety, and talk about all the gear they wear when they're fighting fires.

    Music Makers and Shakers

    DOVER — Friday, July 26 at 10 a.m. join the Dover Public Library for this fun music program for kids of all ages and their caregivers. We'll sing, dance and celebrate, using instruments, clapping, stomping, and movement to share in a jubilee of musical expression.

    Eliot Antique Tractor & Engine Show

    ELIOT, Maine — Friday, July 26, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 27, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Eliot Antique Tractor & Engine Show at the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum is the place ”Where Tractors & Engines Meet” each year. This is the largest fundraiser for the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum and raises funds to educate future generations about farming history and continue preserving the 33 acre circa 1800’s dairy farm.     Arts & Crafts Fair

    NEW CASTLE — The New Castle Congregational Church Guild is hosting a juried Arts and Crafts Fair on July 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the New Castle Congregational Church, 65 Maine St., New Castle. Artist and crafters from Mass., N.H. and Maine will be offering art works in oils, watercolors, fiber arts, photography, acrylics and other media as well as jewelry, crafted wood items, handsome bags, ceramics and other items.     Best Damm Show in Town '24

    DOVER — Saturday, July 27, 4-8 p.m. Get ready for an evening of local live music at the most unique venue in Dover: The Woodman Museum. Catch performances from Alcoa and Ezra Cohen & the Big City Band, and enjoy food and beverages from Juniper Kitchen, Dover Dogs, and Maeve's Mobile Cocktails.
