Hampton woman arrested after allegedly firing gun into neighbor's apartment, police say
HAMPTON, N.H. — A woman is in custody after she allegedly fired a bullet into her neighbor's apartment in Hampton on Friday, authorities said. The Hampton Police Department said they were called to Old English Apartments on Winnacunnet Road around 3:15 a.m. for a report of a woman who was banging on her neighbor's door and yelling. Authorities said officers warned the woman, Erin McCarthy, 38, of Hampton, that if they had to return for similar complaints, she would be charged with disorderly conduct.
Maine State Police investigating three crashes involving troopers this weekend
Maine State Police are investigating three separate crashes involving troopers over the weekend. One left an officer injured Saturday night. The Department of Public Safety said Maine State Police Trooper Patrick Flanagan was on a traffic stop with his emergency lights activated at mile marker 32 southbound on the Maine Turnpike in Biddeford when his cruiser was rear-ended by another vehicle. The force of the crash caused Trooper Flanagan’s cruiser to spin around and strike the vehicle he had pulled over.
