New York family of Holocaust victim reclaims Nazi-looted art
US authorities announced Friday the return of another artwork stolen by Nazis to the family of Fritz Grunbaum, the Austiran-Jewish cabaret performer and collector who originally owned it. The drawing, by Austrian expressionist Egon Schiele, was returned at a ceremony Friday by another Austrian-Jewish family, who purchased the piece without knowing that it had been stolen.

Listeria outbreak sickens at least 12 in New York
NEW YORK – At least a dozen cases of listeria have been reported across New York state in connection to a national outbreak linked to deli meat.The state Health Department said four of those cases were in New York City, two were in Suffolk County and one was in Nassau County. The remaining five cases were located in Cayuga, Dutchess, Greene, Onondaga and Oswego counties.All 12 patients had to be hospitalized. On Wednesday (July 24), CBS News shared police bodycam footage involving New York State Supreme Court Justice Erin Gall, who could be seen on camera threatening to shoot Black teenagers after a fight broke out at a high school graduation party she was attending in New Hartford, N.Y. in 2022. The viral footage was released by the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct this month. The 2022 incident led to Gall's suspension, and a judicial watchdog panel ruled that she should be removed from office for the offensive remarks.
