Endwell Man Charged After Drugs, Guns Found in Binghamton Apartment
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force says an Endwell man is charged after search warrants were executed in Binghamton and the Town of Union. According to the Task Force, the first warrant was executed Wednesday at 341 Main Street, Apartment 3RE in Binghamton. A .22-caliber revolver, a 9mm handgun, a high-capacity 9mm magazine, approximately 5.2 ounces of cocaine and crack cocaine, over $5,500 in suspected drug proceeds, and other paraphernalia were all found. An additional search warrant was executed in the Town of Union, where an additional approximate $1,500 in suspected drug proceeds was found.

WOODBOURNE – Opposition to the closing of the maximum security Sullivan Correctional Facility on November 6 rallied at the Woodbourne Fire Department on Wednesday hoping to convince Governor Kathy Hochul to reverse her decision. Hochul, following the plan started by disgraced former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who closed 18 prisons in 10 years, has already closed six prisons. The state legislature has Hochul granted permission to close five more facilities.
