Pa. Lottery ticket worth over $2.6M sold in Franklin County
Another day, another Lottery ticket worth millions sold in Pennsylvania. This time the golden ticket was purchased in Franklin County. According to a press release sent Friday by the Pennsylvania Lottery themselves, the ticket in question was a jackpot Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $2.68 million. The matching numbers were 6-8-16-20-30-39.

Wawa is rising on Wayne Avenue in Chambersburg. One of several new Wawa locations under development as the regional chain of convenience stores and gas stations expands west, construction is progressing on a 1.16-acre lot at the corner of Wayne and Sheller avenues that was once home to Denny's and, more recently, Japanese restaurant Sakura.

In a generous act of community spirit, the Gaugler Family has donated a plot of land on Cumberland Avenue, nestled between Highland and Byers Avenues, for the creation of a new public park. The newly named Cumberland Community Park is set to enhance the local environment and provide a recreational space for residents of Chambersburg.
