DOYLESTOWN, PA—Doylestown Township has rescheduled its July 17 concert at Central Park for Friday, July 19, due to weather concerns.

The show by Studio Two-The Beatles Tribute will be moved to Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at the C&N Amphitheater in Central Park as part of the township’s Thompson Performing Arts Summer Concert Series.

Officials postponed the concert because of forecasts calling for “strong” thunderstorms to begin on Wednesday afternoon. It was the third concert the township rescheduled in this year’s series.

Studio Two-The Beatles Tribute focuses on music the band played live when it was playing in clubs and on tour. The Beatles stopped touring and became a studio-only band in 1966. The tribute band’s Facebook page said it considers the music from those years “the most exciting and fun time in the Beatles career.”

More information about the show and the concert series can be found on the township’s Department of Parks & Recreation website.
