    DOYLESTOWN, PA—Here's a look at road closings and slowdowns in the Doylestown area for the week of July 21, 2024.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Bedminster Township, Route 313/South Dublin Pike between High Street and Chelfield Road will have a lane closure for a pole installation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from July 22 through July 26, 2024.

    In Doylestown Borough, West Court Street between North Main Street and West State Street will have lane closures for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through July 31, 2024.

    In Doylestown Borough, West State Street between Main Street and Clinton Street will be closed for milling and paving beginning at 6 a.m. on July 22. The work is scheduled to go through July 24. The road will be marked as a no-parking zone in advance, and cars left parked on State Street past 6 a.m. on July 22 will be ticketed and towed. Traffic will be detoured around the work zone.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Doylestown Borough/Doylestown Township, U.S. 202 North between Swamp Road and Easton Road will have a right-lane closure for roadwork from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled for July 26, 2024.

    In Doylestown Township, Easton Road at the intersection of New Britain Road will have a full closure with a detour from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The closure is scheduled to go from Jan. 25, 2024, through the summer of 2026 as part of the installation of a roundabout.     In Doylestown Township, New Britain Road between Easton Road and Rolling Hill Boulevard will have a single-lane closure 24/7. The work is scheduled to go through the summer of 2024.

    In Hilltown Township, Callowhill Road between Perkasie Road and West Main Street will have a full closure with a detour for a bridge replacement. The work is scheduled to go from April 15 through Nov. 4, 2024.

    In Hilltown and New Britain townships, Hilltown Pike between Township Line Road and Route 309/Bethlehem Pike will have a lane shift for overhead work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through Aug. 30, 3024.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Lower Makefield Township, Stony Hill Road between Township Line Road and Langhorne Yardley Road will have single-lane closures with flagging for bridge upgrades from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from July 22 through July 26, 2024.

    In Lower Makefield and Newtown townships, Lindenhurst Road between Route 332/Newtown Bypass and Route 523/Washington Crossing Boulevard will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from May 20 through Sept. 30, 2024. Motorists will be directed to use Route 332/Newtown Bypass, Durham Road and Route 532/Washington Crossing Road. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

    In Lower Southampton Township, Route 532 South/Bustleton Pike between County Line Road and Bridle Path Lane will have lane closures for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through July 30, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Langhorne-Yardley Road at the intersections of Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road will have periodic lane closures in both directions for construction of a roundabout. The work is scheduled to go through August of 2024. For more information about this project, see PennDOT’s website.

    In Middletown Township/Langhorne Borough, Route 413/Langhorne Newtown Road/Pine Street between Route 232/Newtown Bypass and 300 feet north of Gilliam Avenue will have a lane closure for milling and paving from Sunday through Friday evenings from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The work is scheduled to go from June 9 through early August 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Route 213/Old Lincon Highway/Maple Avenue between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way will have a weekday lane closure for stormwater replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through July 26, 2024.

    In Montgomery Township, the area around the five-point intersection at Route 309/Bethlehem Pike, Route 463/Horsham Road/Cowpath Road and Business U.S. 202/Doylestown Road will have alternating lane closures and temporary traffic patterns for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is part of a long-term project that will make major intersection improvements.     NEW THIS WEEK: In Montgomery Township, the area around the five-point intersection at Route 309/Bethlehem Pike, Route 463/Horsham Road/Cowpath Road and Business U.S. 202/Doylestown Road will have an overnight closure on Sunday, Aug. 4, for sign work from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Detours will be posted on Route 309/Bethlehem Pike, Route 463/Cowpath Road and Southbound Business 202/Doylestown Road.

    In New Britain Township, New Galena Road between Hilltown Pike and Route 152 will have a lane shift for overhead utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from June 10 through Aug. 30, 2024.

    In New Britain Township, Route 152/North Limekiln Pike between Lindenfield Parkway Newville Road will have a lane shift for utility replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from June 10 through Oct. 30, 2024.

    In Northampton Township, Route 332/Almshouse Road between Temperance Lane and Route 232/Second Street Pike will have a partial lane restriction from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from July 22 through Aug. 1, 2024.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Plumstead Township, Old Easton Road between Curly Hill Road and Route 611/Easton Road will be closed on July 23 all day for drainage work. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Curly Hill Road between Route 611/Easton Road and Old Easton Road or Point Pleasant Pike.

    In Plumstead Township, Route 32/River Road between Old Ferry Road and Fleecy Dale Road will be closed 24/7 to replace a bridge that goes over a tributary of the Delaware River that was damaged in 2021’s Hurricane Ida. The work is scheduled to go from June 17 through early September 2024. A detour will direct motorists to use Point Pleasant Pike, Route 413/Durham Road, Mechanicsville Road and Greenhill Road.     In Solebury Township, the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge will be closed to traffic from New Hope to New Jersey for several months. The closure will allow for repairs to be made. More information is on the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission website.

    In Upper Makefield Township, Lurgan Road between Eagle Road and Street Road will be closed 24/7 to replace a bridge over a branch of the Pidcock Creek. The work is scheduled to go from July 15 through late November 2024. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 32 (River Road), Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), and Street Road.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Warrington Township, County Line Road between Route 611/Easton Road and Maple Avenue will have periodic lane closures for road construction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled for July 22, 2024.
