DOYLESTOWN, PA—Easton Road south of Doylestown Borough will be repaved this week as part of the roundabout construction that’s been taking place since January of this year.

PennDOT announced that paving will take place on Monday, July 29, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. where Easton Road meets Turk Road. There will be a lane closure in both directions during the construction.

That part of Easton Road has been subject to lane closures since January, so the closures for repaving won’t be news to motorists who regularly use that stretch of roadway. Those closures are scheduled to run through April of 2026.

PennDOT is building two roundabouts on that stretch of Easton Road, one at the intersection of New Britain Road and the other at the intersection of Sauerman Road. PennDOT officials have said that the roundabouts are being installed to reduce the number of accidents at the intersections.

For more information on the project, see PennDOT’s website.
