Nicholas Sparks will visit The Doylestown Bookshop as a stop on tour for his book, "Counting Miracles," this fall, bringing the international best-selling author to Bucks Count to sign copies and take pictures with fans.

Sparks is a world-renowned author of many well-loved novels, including "The Notebook" (2006), "Message in a Bottle" (1998), "A Walk to Remember" (1999) and "Dear John" (2006), several of which have been adapted to screenplays and box-office successes.

To date, Sparks has sold over 92 million copies of his novels in the United States.

Sparks will be at the Doylestown Bookshop at 16 S. Main Street on Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Check-in for the event will begin at 6 p.m. and tickets are $31.80.

Tickets to the book signing must be bought in advance and can be purchased on the store's website. Penguin Random House, the publisher of Sparks' books, is sending a professional photographer to take pictures of each attendee with Sparks and they will receive them at no additional cost.

Tickets will not be sold at the door and walk-ins will not be accepted, organizers said. At check-in, ticket-holders will be provided with a copy of Counting Miracles and a wristband which will permit them to join the line.

For those who cannot attend the event but would like an autographed copy of Counting Miracles, Doylestown Bookshop is offering a pre-order option. Pre-ordered books cannot be picked up during the event and will be available Sept. 25 for pick-up or shipping.

Guests may not bring books or additional items from home to be signed. Additionally, Penguin Random House, the publisher of Sparks' books, is sending a professional photographer to take pictures of each attendee with Sparks. Therefore, no cameras or cell phone photography will be permitted. Following the event, the professional photos taken by the photographer will be made available at no extra cost to the attendees.
