An Italian restaurant in Hanover Township, Northampton County, sustained significant damage due to a fire Sunday morning, according to the township fire chief. Firefighters responded at 9 a.m. Sunday to the fire at Nonna Sulina’s Sicilian Kitchen and Grill at 5000 Bath Pike, according to Hanover Township, Northampton County, Fire Chief Scott Van Why.

Mercer County Park hosted the first Trenton Talks Basketball Tournament, with a portion of all proceeds going to benefit Trenton’s A Better Way foundation. The tournament brought out over 250 residents from Trenton and surrounding communities. 12 basketball teams competed for top honors. Death investigation underway after 5-month-old dies in Philadelphia
An investigation is underway after an infant died in Philadelphia on Sunday.According to police, a 5-month-old boy was found unresponsive in the morning by his mother.They were at Northern Children's Services on Ridge Avenue in Wissahickon, officers say.The child was rushed to Einstein Medical Center, where he later died.So far, there is no word on what caused the child's death. Flash flood warning affecting Philadelphia County until early Monday
A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 7:59 p.m. in effect until Monday at midnight for Philadelphia County. "At 7:59 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," explains the weather service. "Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low-lying areas."
