Kate Gosselin’s Son Accuses Her Of ‘Zip-Tying’ Him And Shutting Him Away In Basement

Collin Gosselin has come forward with shocking revelations about his childhood, which was marked by episodes of abuse perpetrated by his mother, Kate Gosselin. The 20-year-old recounted her horrifying acts, which included tying his hands and feet and leaving him in the basement for long periods.

Kate previously accused Collin of being physically violent, stating that he was sent to Fairmont Behavioral Health Institute, Philadelphia, for rehabilitation in 2016. Collin debunked the allegation, saying Kate kept him in the institution to silence him.

Collin recalled being tied up and isolated in a dark room with cameras, which Kate made sure to bolt-lock from the outside. Kate also kept him away from his siblings and allegedly put him on strange medications that made him feel like a zombie. On top of that, Kate was verbally and physically abusive and hardly allowed him outside.

Collin was immediately institutionalized after exposing Kate to his school teacher and a few others and was stuck in the center until his father intervened. Collin’s dad, Jon Gosselin, claimed to be unaware of the abuse Kate meted out on their child and reportedly spent about a million dollars getting Collin out of the facility.

Collin Gosselin was discharged from military school

Collin was just about to graduate from military training for the U.S. Marines when Kate made a viral social media post accusing him of mental illness. She tagged Collin as violent and unpredictable and told the public that he had a distorted perception of reality.

He was unaware of the narrative being peddled by his mother until the Marine Corps caught wind of it and ultimately discharged him from service. Collin struggled with debunking Kate’s lies because he was clearly admitted to a mental health facility. He later presented a professionally done psychiatric evaluation, clearing him of the false bipolar, autism, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and PTSD diagnoses.
