Jason Alexander was spotted during a stroll on the streets of Los Angeles, but the actor could have walked right past without getting outed thanks to his new salt-and-pepper beard. Jason wore a pair of dark jeans and sneakers, with a plaid flannel shirt— most of which was covered by a baggy vest.

This rare outing for some Starbucks coffee and snacks came after the series star’s 65th birthday, and fans around could not hold back from complimenting him. They also struck up a conversation about Seinfeld, where Jason famously played George Constanza.

Seinfeld ran from 1989 to 1998 with a total of nine seasons, starring Jason alongside Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards. While heading towards his car, some fans asked if there was going to be a reunion, to which Jason replied that he does not run the franchise.

Last October, Jerry addressed the comeback conversation after being asked if he was satisfied with the sitcom finale. He claimed he had a little secret about the ending that he was unable to share, but he also promised there was something in the works regarding it. He added that co-creator and executive producer Larry David was also involved in the development.

Jason’s role as George pushed him to star status in Hollywood, earning him multiple recognitions like a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series, Primetime Emmy Awards nominations and Golden Globe nods for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

After Seinfeld, he made a couple of short-lived sitcoms and made some TV appearances before returning to Broadway as the artistic director of Los Angeles’ Reprise Theater Company for six years while also doing live stage shows. Jason has found success as a performer, starring in the prime-time CBS special Dick Van Dyke: 98 Years of Magic in the final spoken tribute segment.
