Joan Collins Shares Bizarre, Gas-Inducing Diet For Which She Credits Her Youthful Looks At 91

Celebrities sometimes go to extreme lengths to maintain their outward appearance, and this time, it is Dame Joan Collins revealing the disgusting but effective meal that keeps her looking ageless at 91. To stay slim, the legendary Hollywood actress simply eats a plate of boiled eggs and broccoli for three days straight, claiming it provides her body with protein and fiber for bowel movement.

She claims the fart-inducing combination is effective at keeping her trim, as she never has to deprive herself of junk like chocolate, nuts and cookies; however, she recommends broccoli as the preferred go-to snack. She also credits her fifth husband Percy Gibson for providing a relaxing and warm space for her.

Eat less, do more

Joan believes meal portions should be reduced as one grows older, and she noted that one just needs half as much food at 50 than they did at 25. She is not a fan of dieting and indulges in her favorite snacks without fuss.

In addition to her controlled portions, Joan lives an active lifestyle which involves being busy with work. Right after her one-woman show titled Joan Collins Unscripted, Joan focused on her role as the late Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson in the upcoming series. On days when she is unable to get a good night’s rest, Joan simply places cold cotton pads on her eyes straight out of an ice bowl.

Joan Collins is never ditching makeup or work

Joan lives up to her reputation as a glamorous woman with an admirable jewelry stack and a full face of makeup. She never goes out without wearing makeup, and once said she will save her red lipstick first if she was ever shipwrecked. She also admitted to trying Botox once which solidified her resolve to never attempt it again due to side effects.

Joan is proof that her tips really work as she has hardly been in the news for being ill. While concerns arise over her retirement, she simply enjoys work and has no plans to slow down anytime soon.
