The Israeli Air Force announced on Sunday evening that it had carried out airstrikes on about 120 targets in Lebanon with dozens of fighter jets without giving details on casualties.

Earlier, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported at least 53 deaths and 100 injuries from Israeli strikes in the south and east of the country. It did not specify whether the victims were civilians or Hezbollah fighters.

The Israeli army said that “military targets” of the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah militia had been attacked, mainly in southern Lebanon, but also deep inside Lebanese territory.

The strikes reportedly hit Hezbollah headquarters, military facilities, and infrastructure used for planning and executing attacks on Israel. The information has not been independently verified.

They are afraid of IRAN. They attack a smaller country who didn't attack them.
