New injury concerns around Bayern's and England's Harry Kane

Harry Kane was substituted for the second straight time in the Bundesliga amid new injury concerns on Sunday around the Bayern Munich striker and England captain.

Kane went off with some 20 minutes left in Bayern's 3-3 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt with what appeared to be a thigh muscle problem.

"It is too early to say what he has. We hope it is not so serious," Bayern coach Vincent Kompany said.

Kane had also been substituted in last weekend's 1-1 draw with champions Bayer Leverkusen with an ankle problem but was fit to play again on Wednesday in the 1-0 Champions League defeat at Aston Villa.

Kane is set for further examinations, just like defender Dayot Upamecano who also had to come off in Frankfurt.

Kane is due to join the England squad for Nations League matches on Thursday against Greece and three days later in Finland.

Bayern's next match is on October 19 against VfB Stuttgart.
