Dozens of rockets fired at northern Israel - Haifa suburbs hit

Militants in Lebanon fired some 105 rockets at targets in the Galilee region of Israel and especially at Haifa, the Israeli army said on Tuesday.

Most of the rockets were intercepted, but some also hit the suburbs of Israel's third-largest city, the army said.

A woman was slightly injured on her hand by shrapnel, the Magen David Adom rescue service wrote on the X platform.

The Times of Israel newspaper described it as the biggest rocket attack on the city of Haifa since Hezbollah began firing at northern Israel a year ago.

Videos published by the newspaper showed damage to houses and cars in the northern suburb of Kiryat Yam.
