Ex-Dortmund coach Terzic ready for the next chapter

Coach Edin Terzic has said he is ready for a new job after the end of his time at Borussia Dortmund, amid reported links to the English Premier League.

I am ready to go for the next chapter in my career. I have been reflecting and preparing myself, considering what went well in the past and which things I don’t want to repeat," Terzic said in a Coaches Voice column.

"Not knowing where and when the next chapter is going to start, but to be ready."

Terzic, 41, won the 2021 German Cup in his first Dortmund term, annd during his second stint lost the 2023 Bundesliga title to Bayern Munich on the final matchday and this year's Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Terzic is reportedly a candidate to succeed beleaguered Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag. Terzic is a former West Ham United assistat coach and obtained his coaching licence in England.
