Boeing to buy Spirit AeroSystems in $4.7 billion all-stock deal
US aircraft manufacturer Boeing has struck a deal to buy Spirit AeroSystems, the company announced on Monday. The all-stock deal has an equity value of about $4.7 billion or $37.25 per share, Boeing said. The total transaction value is around $8.3 billion, including Spirit's last reported net debt. Boeing's acquisition of Spirit will include substantially all Boeing-related commercial operations, as well as additional commercial, defence and aftermarket operations.
