Eugene woman arrested on drug charges after child tests positive for fentanyl
EUGENE, Ore. -- A four-year-old Eugene child tested positive for Fentanyl in June, leading to an investigation that detailed drug-related crimes dating back three years. A search warrant filed with the Lane County Circuit Court said the child told Eugene Police Department detectives that his mom gives blue pills to people who come and go from the house, and that they usually smoke the pills off of tinfoil in the home. Eugene police confirmed their Street Crimes Unit served the search warrant on July 17 at the child’s home.

EUGENE, Ore. – Our Pet of the Week, Yale, is a sweet hound dog who loves to sniff out the world on outdoor adventures and cuddle with her people at the end of the day!. Greenhill Humane Society staff said that this smart, sweet girl is very sociable, loves being led by her nose on leisurely walks, and tells her people all about her day. This six-year-old black and grey hound weighs about 64 pounds and is well-behaved, as she enjoys meeting and playing with the other dogs in the shelter, Greenhill officials said. The organization said that Yale should meet other dog siblings at the shelter during a meet and greet and a slow, supervised introduction with any kitty friends. Yale is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines and ready to meet her forever family, staffers said.
