    Woman dies after suspected fentanyl overdose in Kentucky jail, another charged

    FULTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A woman is dead after being found unresponsive in her cell at the Fulton County Detention Center on July 12.

    Kentucky State Police said 40-year-old Charlina M. Easley, of Dresden, Tennessee, was transported from the detention center to a medical center where she was pronounced deceased.

    During the investigation, KSP allegedly discovered 49-year-old Brandy Reynolds, of South Fulton, Tennessee, had concealed fentanyl during her intake and then provided it to Easley and other female inmates.

    Reynolds was charged with six counts of promoting contraband. She remains lodged at the Fulton County Jail.
