Garden Valley, ID (CBS2) — Crews continue to make progress on the Bulldog and Nellie fires as cooler temperatures continue to help fire crews. Crews working on the Bulldog fire focused on containing the fire on the western side as well as protecting structures along the southwestern perimeter. LEWISTON, Idaho – A 73-year-old Lewiston man was killed in a collision with a car Saturday afternoon. The Boise Fire received 1 ¼ – 1 ½ inches of rain. Today, crews worked on regaining access to the fire area after the rain and assessing needs. Some road system damage was discovered that will need to be repaired in order to reach some areas of the fire.
