Dripping Springs ISD has named three new head coaches for the Dripping Springs High School dance, golf and tennis programs.

Kayla Roper has been named the new dance director, David Biagini has been selected as the head golf coach and Carly Norment has been named the head tennis coach.

Roper has served as DSISD’s assistant dance director for three years. She assisted with the awardwinning Hi-Steppers program and coached the Dazzlers squad to a Crowdpleasers state championship in 2024. Roper earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas State University in 2021.

Biagini steps into the head role for the Tiger golf program after serving as an assistant tennis coach for Dripping Springs High School last year. He previously spent time as a substitute teacher for DSISD and served as a teacher and coach for Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth. Biagini graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dallas.

Norment is entering her fourth year with DSISD after spending the previous three years as a teacher and coach at Dripping Springs Middle School. During her stint at DSMS, Norment coached volleyball, basketball, tennis, track and soccer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in education from Texas A&M University in 2021.
