Boutwell Steel celebrates Dripping Springs location

On Thursday, May 16, Boutwell Steel Company celebrated their new location and opening of their metal sales center with a Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration that included guests from the Chamber, their customers and welding students from Dripping Springs High School.

Boutwell Steel Company proudly serves the greater Dripping Springs area with pipe and metal sales supplies, welding, and fabrication. They also offer structural and architectural fabrication, steel detailing services, gated entrance design, high-end staircases, and railing. President and Founder Austin Boutwell started the business in 2015 as Southwest Welding Company, serving the Dripping Springs community with welding and fabrication. In April of 2023, they purchased 9409 Highway 290 West for their pipe & metal sales center and went through a name change to Boutwell Steel. Over the last year they have been working hard to get the new location open. They are officially open for business Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Their pipe and metal sales center will be stocked with flat bar, angle iron, square tubing, pipe, plate, base plates, embed plates, weld on hinges and other weld-on accessories. They plan to continue to grow and provide more opportunities for employment.
