Kellie Raymond has been named the new principal at Dripping Springs Elementary school and Amber Daige to the post of principal at Cypress Spring Elementary school in time for the new school year which begins August 13.

“Creating opportunities for our leaders to grow is an important part of leading a vibrant organization like DSISD. Raymond and Daige are accomplished and innovative leaders steeped in the rich traditions of the Dripping Springs community. I know they will bring just as much vision, expertise, and success to their new roles as their previous positions in the district and I am excited about the future for these campuses under their leadership,”said DSID superintendent Holly Morris-Kuentz.

Raymond, who opened and served as the Cypress Springs Elementary principal for three years, will return to Dripping Springs Elementary, where she served as principal for six years. Raymond holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and both principal and superintendent certificates.

“Mrs. Raymond’s unparalleled professional experience and deep commitment to the DSISD community make her an exceptional choice to lead our largest elementary campus, and I am thrilled that she has chosen to return to Dripping Springs Elementary,” Morris-Kuentz said.

Daige is a strong administrator and educational leader entering her 15th year with DSISD. Currently, she is serving as an assistant principal at Walnut Springs Elementary (WSE). Her diverse career includes years as a classroom teacher, dyslexia specialist, reading interventionist, and instructional coach, before earning her principal certification and being promoted to assistant principal at Walnut Springs.Daige holds a Master of Education degree.

“Mrs. Daige is a talented campus leader, and a gifted communicator and community builder, and I look forward to having her serve DSISD as one of our campus principals.” Morris-Kuentz said.
