Man arrested after kids have adverse reaction to vape pen he reportedly gave them
JENKINS, Ky. — A Letcher County man is in jail, after two children had adverse reactions to a vape pen he allegedly gave to them. A sheriff’s deputy was at the Jenkins Day Festival last Saturday, when he was approached by a child who said another he had found a boy covered in vomit lying unconscious in an alley. The deputy soon found the boy as described, as well as a witness who described what happened.
“Movie money” situation believed to be isolated
JENKINS, Ky. (WYMT) - On Monday, officials in Jenkins were made aware of “movie money” being used at Paco’s Mexican Restaurant. Jenkins Compliance and Enforcement Director Chris Anderson said with the help of restaurant and city officials, they were able to identify two teenagers that gave the money.
