Seeing familiar faces in new places
As a new school year at Tunstall High School begins, there are some familiar faces around the school that have now taken on different positions. For example, Mrs. Lisa Totten went from the assistant principal to the principal. Coach Kirkland Brown went from a special education teacher to a gym teacher. Lastly, Coach Austin went from being a gym teacher to being Tunstall’s Athletic Director. It is important to take into consideration the way these individuals feel about their new positions and the way students feel about the new positions that have been taken.
Introducing the Tunstall High 2024 Fall Sports
As the 2024 fall sports season begins, the Tunstall High School players are ready to take on their opponents. Our teams are excited to begin a new year with a fresh start and carry the Trojan legacy to many victories. This year, Tunstall is proud to present our volleyball, football, golf, cross country, and cheerleading teams for the fall season. As the year progresses, Tunstall will get to watch as our players continue to grow, develop new skills, and become overall better athletes.

In the last few minutes before the final volleyball game of the season, Colby Eastwood and Carleigh Strader inspire their team with an encouraging speech that they gave at every game. These words of encouragement pump the team up for their games every time. Preparing is one of the key elements of playing in a game. This allows one to get in the right mindset to perform to the best of their ability. Preparing for a game can range from listening to music to talking to teammates about the upcoming event. Many players have a routine that helps them get into their best headspace, resulting in playing a better game.
