The team fundraising activity will take place from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on August 3rd in the parking lot of Weston High School. Coroner identifies man who died after being shot in Bossier City
BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - One man is dead after a shooting Saturday evening (July 27). Bossier City police officers received a call about gunfire at 7:18 p.m. According to officials, the first officer arrived on the scene at 1656 E. Texas St. at 7:20 p.m. and found a man who had been shot in the chest. He was taken by ambulance to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, where he succumbed to his injuries.

We Paint The Sky! artist class to be held for Hispanic children
BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - An art class for Hispanic children will encourage them to tell their stories through visual arts. On August 6 and August 13, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., award-winning artist Lisandra di Liberto Torres will instruct We Paint The Sky!, an art class aimed at Hispanic children at the Bossier Arts Council.
