MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge will be one of the hosts for Louisiana’s National Hunting and Fishing Day (NHFD). BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - A Bossier City boy just had his wish granted thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Easton, 8, recently had a heart transplant. He met Malibu at Seventh Heaven Stables in Benton, and the horse quickly became Easton’s favorite. The stables have been letting Easton ride Malibu since the two met, and even let him take the horse to shows and rodeos. Seventh Heaven has been housing Malibu for Easton and letting him care for her as his own. Now, Make-A-Wish is helping Easton take Malibu home for good.
