Veronica Bak started her bakery, Sweet Victory, in 2013 to make treats for people like her — dessert lovers with gluten and dairy allergies.

"It's definitely a labor of love," Bak said. By 2020, she was selling cakes, cookies and more out of her Dublin store now at 105 Main Street.

Sweet Victory is believed to be the only retail bakery in Bucks County that's both gluten and dairy free by default. That's important, Bak says, because many people with gluten sensitivities also have trouble with dairy. The store offers egg-free, vegan options as well.

Bak makes all of her baked goods from scratch, using her own flour blend, on all-new kitchen equipment to avoid cross contamination, she said. Her menu includes cakes, cookies, pies, cupcakes, brownies, donuts and more.

Bak has made wedding, birthday and other party cakes to order for as many as 250 people.
