Norb Krapf to Read from His New Book July 20 at museum.
On Saturday, July 20,2024 Jasper native and Indiana poet, Norbert Krapf, will visit to read from his new book called “Ida Hagan of the Pinkston Freedom Settlement” at 1:30pm at the Dubois County Museum at 2704 N. Newton Street in Jasper. He is excited to share his poems on the life of this remarkable woman. Miss Hagan grew up in the Pinkston Freedom Settlement that was located in the present Huntingburg Conservation Club area in Dubois County, IN. Miss Hagan achieved much in her growing up years in Ferdinand and Krapf is excited to share his 14 year research into her life. Krapf will have copies of his book on hand and will be available to sign his book. The Museum’s Gift Shop also has several more books written by Mr. Krapf on hand for purchase.

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The thousandth surgery was performed Saturday at the Dubois County Human Society Spay and Neuter Clinic. The clinic took to Facebook to make the announcement. They went on to say that pet owners can make appointments on the shelter’s website.
