HUNTINGBURG, Ind. — With a five-run inning in the fifth inning, the Danville Dans was able to beat the Dubois County Bombers 8-2 on Friday at League Stadium. Dubois County Museum hosts Car Show August 11
The Dubois County Museum will host their fifth Annual Car Show on Sunday, August 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the museum at 2704 N. Newton Street in Jasper. The show will be held in the shady area and parking lot behind the museum, rain or shine. Registration is from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The cost is $15 per vehicle the day of the show or $10 per pre-registered vehicle. Pre-registration forms are due by August 5. They are available at the museum or on the Facebook page.

Bombers reschedule game, fireworks night
The Dubois County Bombers announced that Wednesday's rained out home game against the Terre Haute Rex has been rescheduled to a doubleheader for July 18. Tickets to the July 3 game will be honored for that game, and they may also attend the second game of the doubleheader for free.
Leadership Academy team seeking help to impact Haysville Park
A Dubois County Leadership Academy team is seeking community help to complete its capstone project for the 2024 class year. The Dubois County Leadership Academy is a county-wide initiative sponsored by the Leadership Pillars. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit, standalone entity. Every year, teams collaborate to create a capstone project to help Dubois County residents.
