Oklahoma Selected by Georgetown University for The Youth in Custody Certificate Program
OKLAHOMA CITY, JULY 23, 2024 —The Georgetown Center for Juvenile Justice Reform selected Oklahoma as one of only four jurisdictions from across the country to participate in The Youth in Custody Certificate Program. The program aims to assist juvenile justice leaders in implementing, or accelerating, systemic change to enhance outcomes for youth in custody. Joining Oklahoma in this prestigious program are Multnomah County in Oregon, the city of Newport News in Virginia, and the State of Rhode Island.
