Discount retailer Big Lots said earlier this month it planned on closing 35-40 locations, citing decreased customers spending. Locations for prospective closures and the timeframe for such closures weren’t disclosed at the time. However, this week the Lafayette Big Lots store at 3557 Ambassador Caffery posted a sign indicating the location would be closing.
