Pool play games in Connie Mack World Series begin Friday
FARMINGTON – The Frackers will open pool play in the Connie Mack World Series on Friday, July 26 at 5:30 p.m. at Worley Field against a team still to be determined. The pool play brackets were announced and released this week by the American Amateur Baseball Congress. The Frackers, the host team for the CMWS, were entered into Pool B, along with the Dallas-based D-Bat United. All 12 teams will play three games over the course of Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27 with games at Worley Field, the Farmington Sports Complex and at Ricketts Park.

Eastern New Mexico Faces Severe Weather Threat Saturday until 10 PM
Albuquerque, NM – Eastern New Mexico is under a severe weather threat tonight at 10 PM, with the National Weather Service issuing warnings for flash floods and storms. According to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque, another round of storms will develop over the mountains before moving southward over lower elevations. These storms could become severe, particularly in eastern New Mexico, bringing heavy rainfall and potential flash flooding. The affected areas include Clovis, Hobbs, and Carlsbad.

She is one of 100 Republican women across the country invited to the event hosted in part by the Republican National Committee. Tweeti isn’t sure how she was selected, but the White House social secretary, to whom she posed the question, said the women attending are all candidates for office or hold some political office and most are from the western states.
