The body of a missing Duluth man, 43-year-old Ryan Lahti, was found partially submerged in the Pokegama River in the Village of Superior, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Officers found the body west of Oakes Ave., just east of Cemetery Rd. at approximately 4:50 p.m. Monday. His cause of death will be confirmed after an autopsy.

Lahti was reported missing by family around June 14 after they reported not hearing from him for several days.

He was last seen fleeing from police into the woods during a traffic stop being conducted by Douglas County deputies. Officers could not locate him despite using multiple K9s, drones and thermal imaging.
