    Rain likely, storms possible Monday

    The National Weather Service in Duluth continues with a hazardous weather outlook for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin to include a chance for isolated severe storms in Price County on Monday afternoon.

    The weather service forecast for Sunday evening includes a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 p.m.., amounting to less than one-tenth of an inch, and higher amounts possible with thunderstorms. Expect patchy fog after 2 a.m., with an overnight low of around 60 degrees and a northwest wind of 5 mph.

    On Monday there is a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between noon and 4 p.m., followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m. New precipitation should amount to less than one-tenth of an inch, and higher amounts possible with thunderstorms.

    Expect patchy fog before 7 a.m. The high will be near 82 degrees with a south wind of 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon with gusts as high as 20 mph.

    There is a 30% chance of showers on Monday night before 7 p.m., with a low around 56 degrees and a northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

    The weather service shows warm, sunny weather for the remainder of the week with highs in the mid to high 70s and moderate winds. The chance of showers returns next Sunday.
