Pleasant Gap, Pa. — A woman woke up to a woman standing over her bed and screaming, police say. Downtown Lock Haven welcomes 'Cruise-in'
Lock Haven, Pa. — Downtown Lock Haven hosted its Final Friday this weekend with a special Cruise-in Car Show on Main Street, along with live music, great food, and shopping. Vehicles from Central PA Street Machines came and filled Main Street for "Wheels on Main," showcasing cars from all eras. The MixTape band also performed live, as the downtown crowd enjoyed a special showing of "Cars" at the historical Roxy theater, as well as deals at local shops and restaurants. Raccoon rabies vaccinations will drop from the sky in Allegheny County next month
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Aircraft will drop rabies vaccination baits across Allegheny County next month as part of a massive effort to eventually eradicate the raccoon variant of the virus from the country. The vaccination program is spearheaded by the United States Department of Agriculture's Wildlife Services, which the Allegheny County Health Department partners with annually. This year, volunteers will distribute baits containing the vaccine from Aug. 1 through Aug. 30, both by hand and by air.
