On Saturday, April 20, Congressman David Trone, MD-06, and candidate for U.S. Senate, visited the Seahorse Inn on Wise Avenue for a meet and greet with Dundalk voters, where he received the endorsement of a newly formed Democratic Club, the Knights of Labor. The club, co-founded by former candidate for Baltimore County Council and teacher Justin Holliday, and labor advocate Ed Crizer III, centers on organizing working-class voters.

The congressman had just finished voting on a bipartisan foreign aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan before traveling the beltway to Dundalk. A tiki bar of 35 people packed the house for Trone, where he circled the room, shaking hands and taking questions from voters.

Some of the issues discussed by the candidate included appropriating federal dollars to a new Key Bridge, trade and vocational education in public schools, term limits for Congress, and his experience as a successful business owner, founding Total Wine & More. Trone concluded the event by pledging his support for union labor in the reconstruction of the Key Bridge.
