DUNDEEMonroe County sheriff's deputies responding to a burglary alarm at a Dundee car dealership early Wednesday made an unexpected discovery.

Deputies found the Williams Brothers Dodge Chrysler Ram dealership on North Ann Arbor Road had been broken into, but they also found an additional vehicle on the lot, Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough reported.

At about 5 a.m. Wednesday, Monroe County Central Dispatch received an alarm activation at the dealership, Goodnough said in a news release. The first deputy arrived at the scene within minutes and found there had been a break-in. Additional deputies arrived and searched the property. Found abandoned in the parking lot was a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was recently stolen from a dealership in Imlay City. No suspects were located.
