Labor union claims Annapolis Police Department retaliated against two workers for reporting mismanagement
ANNAPOLIS -- The United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 400 claims the Annapolis Police Department broke the law by suspending two officers who reported mismanagement in the department. They're calling for the chief to be removed. A group of Annapolis police officers and UFCW Local 400 members met with the human resource and city manager in March for Annapolis to discuss waste and mismanagement at the police department. Kebab chain to open third Greater Baltimore spot
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A Maryland chain is bringing its kebabs to another Greater Baltimore spot next week. Moby Dick House of Kabob will open a location inside a new development at 2496 Riva Road in Annapolis on July 29. Man found guilty of a string of violent robberies sentenced to over 10 years in prison
WASHINGTON — A judge has sentenced a D.C. man to more than 10 years in prison for a string of robberies across the District. On Friday, Stephon Lee was sentenced to 129 months in prison, following his guilty plea on April 19. Lee pleaded guilty to two counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, one count of attempted armed robbery, and one count of second-degree theft.
