Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Grand Jury returned seven indictments on Friday, including one against a Frederick man involved in a shots-fired incident in Urbana in June. Adrienne Mendoza Milam, 48, is charged with three counts of 1st-degree assault, one count possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, three counts of reckless endangerment, one count of violation of a protective order and other offenses. .

Craig Michael Conway, 53, and Alina Pitts, 30, both of Arlington, got some beer muscles while at the Tiki Bar on Charles Street in Solomons, landing them both behind bars. According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to investigate an active fight in progress at the popular bar, and upon arrival found Conway accosting and approaching on security staff.

An alert has been issued by the Charles County Sheriff's Office as they attempt to locate a wanted man from DC who allegedly assaulted a woman. Officers were called at around 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 to the 2300 block of Alava Court in Waldorf, where there was an assault investigation involving 50-year-old Gary Courtney Stewart, who was able to flee the area before they arrived.
Double-Fatal Crash at Route 301 and Popes Creek Road in Charles County, Maryland
FAULKNER, MD – Maryland State Police (MSP) continue to investigate a two-car crash on Wednesday that claimed two lives and sent another to the hospital in Charles County. The deceased are Norma Matthews, 81, of Lowell, Massachusetts, and Virginia Licata, 86, of Blackwood, New Jersey. Matthews was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency medical services personnel. Licata was flown by Maryland State Police Aviation Command to Capital Region Medical Center and pronounced deceased at the hospital.
