Fatal Labor Day Shooting Under Investigation; No Suspects in Custody
Montgomery County Police are investigating a September 2 fatal shooting in Silver Spring,. where an adult male was found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, “At approximately 9:44 a.m., Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the 8000 block of 13th Street, Silver Spring, for a report of one–down. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male, in an alleyway, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite life–saving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
