Nominations Sought for Hall of Honor
The Dunklin County Hall of Honor committee is accepting nominations. That’s Julie Orf, who says the Hall of Honor is located on the second floor of the library in Kennett. An induction ceremony is held annually in November at the library.

Governor Cuts in Half State Funds to Help Lure Hospital to Kennett
Governor Mike Parson used his line item veto power to cut about one-billion dollars in new state budget items. Among his decisions was to cut in half a $10 million appropriation earmarked for the Bootheel Health Care Foundation in Dunklin County, a non-profit, whose goal is to bring a health care facility back to Kennett.

Woman seriously injured in one-vehicle crash
DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KAIT) - An air ambulance flew a 32-year-old woman to a Memphis hospital Tuesday following a rollover crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at 8:18 p.m. June 18 at the intersection of Highway 25 and U.S. Highway 62, 3.5 miles north of Clarkton in Dunklin County.
