    11 programs offered at Session 6 at International Music Camp

    DUNSEITH, ND ( KXNET ) — A sixth session at the International Music Camp is offering 11 programs for kids who want to expand their musical and artistic talent.

    According to a news release, Session 6 will run from July 21 – July 27, and offers orchestra, band, fiddle, mallet percussion, world percussion, harp, cartooning, painting, sculpture, university prep c, and professional development.

    On Saturday, there will be performances and displays from each of the 11 programs.

    From 10 a.m. to noon, the Art Exhibit will be open in the Alme International Arts Centre.

    The mallet percussion recital will be at 11 a.m. in the Percussive Arts Center.

    The harp recital will also be at 11 a.m., but in the Alme International Arts Centre.

    The world percussion concert will begin at noon in the Burdick Center for the Performing Arts, and shortly after that, the band concert will happen.

    The fiddle exhibition is at 1 p.m. in the Masonic Auditorium, and the orchestra concert will follow at 1:30 p.m.

    NDGF wildlife contest opens for photo entries

    The Friday and Saturday Night Festival of the Arts Performances will happen on July 26 and 27 on the Burdick Center Stage, and feature performances by Evie Andrus.

    Also announced is Session 7, where the final performances will take place on July 30 at 4 p.m. in the Burdick Center for the Performing Arts.

    This session will showcase the art exhibition, world percussion, handbells, harp, guitar, choir, and barbershop choirs.

    After the final performance, there will be one more special concert. At 7 p.m., the community orchestras, bands, and brass bands will perform.

    All the events are subject to the International Peace Garden Gate fee. Admission is either $10 per person per day, or $50 for a family annual season pass.

    Passports are not required to get in and out of the Peace Garden, but they are the preferred form of identification. If you do not have a passport, you will need a birth certificate for everyone in the vehicle, and a photo ID for those older than 16. Each person is expected to present these documents.
