DuPage County Man Charged in Shooting at Hardware Store Parking Lot with Child Present
Carol Stream, IL – A local man has been charged in an alleged shooting that occurred at a hardware store parking lot with his child present. DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Carol Stream Chief of Police Don Cummings announced today that Judge Susan Alvarado granted the State’s motion to detain Carlos Sanchez, 26, pre-trial. Sanchez, of the 800 block of New Britton Road, faces one count of Aggravated Battery – Discharge of a Firearm (Class X Felony) and one count of Misdemeanor Endangering the Health or Life of a Child.

Carol Stream, IL – A man was shot during a road rage incident in Carol Stream on Thursday evening. According to the Carol Stream Police Department, officers responded to the parking lot of 400 W Army Trail Rd around 8:00 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his leg. The suspect had fled the scene in a vehicle before the officers arrived.

The new exhibition features large-scale Mesoamerican Olmec heads, hand-painted by 33 artists across North America. Attorney General Kwame Raoul has charged a Cook County man for his alleged participation in a burglary ring that targeted liquor stores in DuPage and Cook counties. The Attorney General’s office charged Isiah Doss, 25, of Chicago, with three counts of Class 2 felony burglary, each punishable by up to seven years in prison. Sentences are ultimately determined by the court. Doss is currently in prison serving a sentence for unrelated charges, according to a Illinois Attorney General’s Office news release.
